Getting Started

This is my second attempt at a blog. I think I had too much going on with my first one.  I wanted to talk about everything.  Because, well, that's me.  I have a hard time shutting up.  I guess that's why my daughter does the same thing :-P  Anyway, my purpose for this blog is to share my love of nails and nail art.  I am fairly new to it.....only a few months.  But I am getting better everyday.  I recently finished the 31 day nail challenge which can be seen on my Human facebook page.  (I have two facebooks...one for the real live human me and another for my Unhuman nail obsessed me) I did the 31 day nail challenge before I created by nail page.  I then realized that I was going to continue with this obsession and my poor male friends really probably didnt want anything to do with it. So I started my nail page and invited my girls who seemed very interested in my nail obsession.  By the way my nail name on facebook is Nail Obsessed.

When I started doing my nails it was with tape.  Just simple manicures using tape to add other colors.  I have progressed some because I discovered nail stamping!!!  Oh goodness, its an addiction.  If you don't know what this is you must check it out. Here is a link to the originators of nail stamping, Konad.  You can take an ordinary manicure and make it look uber awesome!  I am not nearly as good as some of these ladies out there, but I hope to get there someday.
Here are just a few examples of some of the nail stamping I have done.

So, nail stamping is a lot of fun.  And what looks like a job that took hours, really only takes a few minutes.

In my future posts I will continue to post my nails, but will also tell what colors I used, what stamp or style, and possibly my inspiration.  I hope you enjoy!!

    1. Thanks so much! Yes, I can't stand my manicures when there is just one piece out of order or messy. And I know I'm the only one who notices it :-P
